To all people who don't know me. My favourite season of the year is Winter. I know it's very cold, windy, slippery, it's hard to drive in the snow and so on.. but unfortunately these things don't really put me off. In fact I love it.. I love the feeling of being cosy. Wearing cosy clothes, jacket, coat and scarf with hat and gloves. I love it! Plus sitting in front of the fire sipping hot chocolate or tea makes me feel happy especially during the Christmas Holidays! Anyway, last week.. me and my friends went to the Cairngorms, in Aviemore to do some sledging. I know my husband is going to hate me for saying this, but I really loved it when it was snowing badly on our way there. It's adventurous! It's not fun for the driver but to experience the winter, in all its fury, gave me an adrenaline high! But I must admit I felt sorry for our friend who was driving the car.

Sledging is not really my cup of tea. It was fun but I'm not the type of person who would become obsessed with it! I would really love to try skiing, which is in my bucket list. To do this I would have to save up for a year to actually invest in all the gear that you need and stuff. The Cairngorms is very well known in Scotland for Skiing. It's a ski resort, for all who don't know. I have been to this place many times and I have tons of photos. Anyway, we didn't stay up long in the mountains, as the weather was so bad. The wind almost blew me away, as it was really strong and wild. You can see it on the video that I posted here. So, we went to other area, at the foot of the mountain, which is popular for sledging when the weather gets to wild up above. It was nice and fun! But again, we couldn't stay long there either as the weather was closing in, it began snowing heavily, so we had to leave. We also stopped at a frozen Loch ( lake ) to have take some quick photos, it was really cool! You could actually see the snow being blown across the frozen surface of the loch, in big swirling clouds, it was awesome! If you want to see the whole scenario, you can click on the video below to watch.

Here's the photos we took that day.

XOXO
